We are continuing of Christmas many of you attended our Christmas Eveservice. Today we talk about preparing God a room!
We are in celebration mode! Christmas is just around the corner and I just love this Sunday when our kids entertain us even as they engage the season for it's true meaning. In thinking of this and in preparing for it myself I kept having this singular thought and that is Christmas Jot. There is, or at least should be, such a joy in our hearts as we contemplate this time of the year...and I'm not just talking about for children.
As we find ourselves in the midst of Advent, the four Sundays before Christmas, intended to draw our hearts nearer to God using spiritual practices.
Jesus came to pronounce and show us a new reality, a Kingdom which He was ushering in through His apperance and would come in its fullnes when He returned; which we freely enter through His death and resurrection, by making Him Lord over our lives. In His time on earth, Jesus said some things which truly challenge us and our way of seeing things. These sayings of Jesus become, as our series is entled, and our way of seeing things. These sayings of Jesus become, as our series is entitled "Thing We May Wish Jesus Never Said".
