Thanksgiving Celebration - Building Closing
Posted by VCC on November 25, 2018 at 12:17 PM

Ephesians 1:16 (ESV) I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers! 2 Corinthians 8:1-3 (NLT2) Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia. They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor. But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity. For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more. And they did it of their own free will. We did it and in such a short period of time!!

"All for One and One for All"
Posted by VCC on November 4, 2018 at 11:01 AM

This morning I, along with the Staff, are humbled as well as honored to be part of what God is doing among us. It seems that over the years we have seen so much happen with so many people. We’ve had our challenges and they never really go away, but hopefully, and prayerfully as we get older and closer to the Lord, and truly see our dependence on His Spirit, we can go through the things we go through with less tension, strife, or unnecessary burden. The thing that comes up to me each time we have one of these celebration, is not to focus on the Pastors only, but on all of us as part of a Community God has designed out of His Wisdom and for His Purposes. A lot of it is still unfolding, and just as with our purchasing this property, we don’t assume anything but try our best to take one step at a time, looking to Him at each one of those steps, not wanting to do anything or go anywhere He is not leading. Interestingly one *phrase came to me as I was preparing for this Sunday’s message and that was. All for one and *one for all. Do any of you remember that phrase? Maybe this will help.
