We are continuing our refocus with fall now upon us, and our sincere desire to be who God has called us to be, fulfilled as His people.
This morning we’re celebrating a refocus of sorts. With the start of another school year, summer vacations winding down, and our sincere desire to be who God has called us to be, as individuals and a church, we felt the Spirit’s leading to revisit one of John Wimber’s favorite *clichés in this series called, Everyone Gets to Play. As a matter fact there is a great book with the same title in our resource room which is a compilation of some of John’s teachings. He said: “What I want to see in action is the message, the music and the ministry. We must take the hype out of ministry where everyone gets to play.” To get “the hype out of ministry” meaning, our perceptions, and maybe our experiences, of ministry.
This is the ending of sumer and with it we end our analisis of Timothy,
We jump back into the end our summer series, Mentored by Paul. Focusing on the Pastoral Epistles: 1st and 2nd Timothy and Titus. In this second letter we have added fact that paul is nearing the end of his life and it is one of his last letters.
